For the readers of Bangladesh There is no need of introduction to famous Bengali author and cartoonist Ahsan Habib. And I coud'nt believe myself when Asrar Masud from Progoti Publishers called me and let me know that I am going to illustrate Class Tener Monika (Monika from Class Ten in Bengali).
It was a thriller adventure novel, with various elements like child trafficking, child labor, nexus between elite and evil etc. Total story is action-packed and at the same time praises girl power.
To me (and may be more people like me) Ahsan Habib is best known as Bangladesh's famous cartoonist and founder of cartoon magazine Unmad. But to my surprise his pen is also as mighty as his pencil!
Class Tener Monika was published in Bangladesh Book Fair '20 and this book illustration project is one of my most favorite and most prestigious. Here is the cover and some illustrations from the book.
